Mardi Gras!

 

Friday night I had my first night out since Jacob was born!  My sweet husband not only agreed to stay home with Jacob, but also agreed to take over the night feedings so I could enjoy a Hurricane, or two...

New Orleans native, Robin, and her husband Oscar, hosted a Mardi Gras party.  It was a costume party, but all I had the energy for was throwing on a hat. 

Robin made jambalaya and crawfish etouffee, and pitcher after pitcher of Hurricanes.  Yum!  It was so nice to rejoin the human race for a night out/night off.  Although, I think I spent the entire night talking about Jacob!  :)
